Automotive Steering

  • Mechanical rack tube (welding)
    • A critical component of the HPS steering system, which assists the
driver’s steering effort, this part supports the internal hydraulic
input/output flow and is assembled alongside the external
pressure line assembly, as well as internal components such as the
rack bar, piston, and rack bush.

Taelim leverages advanced welding technology to produce HPS-based rack
tubes, boasting extensive experience in manufacturing over 200 different models.
At its peak, the company accounted for 7% of global export volume, earning
recognition for excellence in the global market.
Today, Taelim continues to supply high-quality products to a variety of OEM
      clients worldwide.

  • Input & Output shaft (machining)
    • Designed as an internal assembly component of the column
mechanism, this part serves as the rotational axis of the column.
The Input Shaft is assembled with the Upper Shaft to include tilt and
telescopic functions, while the Output Shaft is aligned in the rotational
torque output direction and is assembled with the Intermediate Shaft.

Taelim leverages advanced EPS-based processing technology to manufacture
Input Shafts and Output Shafts. These products are supplied to various global
OEMs, earning recognition for their superior quality and reliability. Through
continuous technological innovation, Taelim continues to enhance its
      competitiveness in the global market.

  • Intermediate shaft (assembly)
    • The Steering I-Shaft features a ball slider type designed for high torque
and enhanced durability. Compared to conventional welded I-Shafts, it
offers superior resistance to breakage and exceptional performance,
thanks to specialized assembly processes that reduce rotational
      torque.

Taelim's core product, the I-shaft, is supplied to major OEMs worldwide with
exceptional quality and advanced technology. Leveraging Taelim's in-house
design capabilities, we manufacture various types of I-shafts, including ball
sliding and molding options, offering customized solutions tailored to customer
      needs.
With six state-of-the-art production lines and an annual production capacity of over 3.5 million units, Taelim continues to strengthen its position market with outstanding price competitiveness, driving forward-looking growth.
